Building the French Cleat Wall
Cut a full sheet of plywood into horizontal strips for the cleats. Mount them level across the wall. Then make matching cleats for each tool holder. The beauty is you can rearrange anytime without losing strength.
Power Tool Storage Solutions
Dedicated docks or shelves for each major power tool keep them protected and charged. I added simple charging stations with cable management.
Small Tool Organization
Pegboard combined with French cleats gives me the best of both worlds. Heavy items on cleats, quick-grab items on pegboard.
